Dear Child,
Good morning. I was thinking of you as the
sun rose and it made me think of trust. There's a lot of things in
this world you can't count on. Will you have a good day at work or
school? Will your car start when you want it to? Will it rain on your
baseball game? There is one thing you can always count on and that's
the sun rising. I made the sun work that way for a reason-so every
morning when you saw the light shining through your window you would
think of me and trust me. The sun will always rise in the sky and
I will always be there to listen to you and love you. I promise to
take care of you. Now you may not see the sun rise because you're
locked deep in solitary confinement or experiencing deep cloud cover,
but it rises no matter what is going on in your life. Just because
you don't see the sun rise doesn't mean it didn't rise. It's the same
with me. You may not see me or feel me, but I'm there. Trust me.

Dear Child,
Hope you are well. I know you have many expectations
as you face the day and many people have expectations for you. I know
about expectations. People expect me to do things for them all the
time. There's definitely a difference between expectations and promise.
Expectations come from the receiver of the blessing and promises come
from the giver of the blessing. I always wonder, how can you expect
something unless it's been promised? Many expectations seem more like
wishful thinking, when the "expector" wishes things will
get done for him even when the other party never made a promise. I
call that arrogance. Please don't get that way. Know my promises then
expect me to keep them. Don't have unrealistic expectations for others
or you'll just be disappointed.

Dear Child,
I know a common phrase amongst you says "seeing
is believing." Sometimes that's true. Many times in the Bible
I performed incredible miracles that everyone could see (parting the
Red Sea, walls of Jericho, feeding of the 5,000, raising Lazarus from
the dead, etc.). Other times I healed people privately, one on one
(blind men, lepers, etc.) I do any miracle for only one reason-so
that those who saw it would believe. On the other hand, many times
I showed the person nothing extraordinary, only asking them to have
faith. Abraham comes to mind, a man who believed the things I told
him, yet saw nothing miraculous. The Gospels tell a story of two blind
men who shouted out to Jesus, "Son of David, have mercy on us."
They could not see but believed what they had heard.

Dear Child,
I wanted to continue my correspondence from
yesterday re: seeing is believing. The more I thought about it, seeing
is not believing…believing is seeing. Many people say they must
see to believe. Truth is, they must believe to see. Believing is putting
trust in my words, in my existence, in my son Jesus. Once they put
faith in those things they can't see with their eyes, they then see
into the spiritual world. Now they understand the events of the past.
They comprehend the battle going on in the present. They realize what
will happen in the future. They know there is more than what the eye
can see. Believing opens the eyes to see into dimensions never before
realized. Superman could see through walls. That's nothing like the
kind of vision believing can give you.

Dear Child,
Do you know that every time you sit down you
exhibit faith? It's true. Nobody, before they transfer all of their
body weight into a chair, first checks the stability of the chair,
the manufacturer, the store from which the chair came or interviews
past "sitters" in the chair to find out their experience
from sitting in the chair. When someone sits, they show complete trust
that the chair will hold them. People have a hard time giving their
whole self to me. First their check the validity of Scriptures, interview
scientists and historians, visit churches in the area, then talk to
other Christians who follow me. Even then, many back away from the
wonderful life I promise them. Why is that? Could it be they trust
a chair more than me?
Come to me, I try to tell them, and I will
give you rest.

Dear Child,
It's sad. So many people die without life insurance.
No, not that kind of life insurance that pays financial benefits to
those left behind when a loved one passes. But the kind that insures
that you have eternal life. Getting this life insurance is easy. No
forms to fill out. No medical tests to take. No interview process
to see if you qualify. Everyone qualifies. All it requires is a willingness
to accept two things.
1. That you are sinner and your sin has damaged
your relationship with me.
2. To fix that relationship, my son Jesus died on the cross in your
place and received the punishment of death for your sin.
Earthly life insurance pays benefits to those
left behind for a short time. My life insurance, also known as salvation,
pays benefits to the one who accepts it in Heaven…forever. I
hope you'll sign up today.

Dear Child,
I saw another celebrity died today. Tragic.
He was well liked, known around the world, hung out with powerful
and successful people. Many shook their head when they saw the headline,
remembering all the good he did. Many times we can't grasp the fact
that our earthly heroes are mortal. He may have achieved so much popularity
in life, but, now, is he popular in heaven? Did I know him? Many will
come to me and say "Hey God, it's us," but I'll just shake
me head and said, "Sorry, I didn't know you." Their assignments
were not my assignments. Their deeds were their own. They did nothing
good for me. They made no attempts to reach me or identify with me,
even after the numerous messages I left, and now it's too late. No
matter who you are, what you've done, or how popular you are, everyone
faces the same humbling ending in life. Also, no matter who you are,
what you've done, or how popular you are, everyone has the same opportunity
to become a star in heaven.

Dear Child,
Thank you for believing in me. I know there
are so many things to believe in these days. Every one of them requires
faith. Eve had faith in the snake. Idol worshippers have faith that
a piece of wood will save them. Theories behind the origin of the
life require faith. Faith fills in the gap when there is no tangible
proof. Faith trusts the words of the speaker. When you show faith
in me, you are saying that my words are truth and that you love me.
Trust is the key issue in any love relationship. By trusting the Bible,
my son Jesus and those that speak the truth today, you send me a love
letter every time. I've given you all the evidence you need to understand
the beginning of creation, the past, the way to live your life today,
and clues into what's to come. Believe me, I've seen it all.

Dear Child,
I watched some people sky dive the other day.
Talk about a leap of faith. To stand at the edge of the plane's exit,
then jump 15,000 feet above the earth. So much trust-in the skydiving
teachers, the pilot, gravity, weather, the parachute maker, the person
who packed the chute, the maker of the plane. The sky diver has no
idea what will happen, but trusts that others have done this before
and it will be successful again. When it comes to believing in me,
wouldn't you agree, it's a leap of faith. You are trusting your whole
life in me, jumping, as it were, into the unknown, but in a way…known.
Trusting that I have packed your chute with the truth of Jesus Christ,
guaranteeing that it will open and bring you safely down into eternity,
on the ground…in heaven. It's not as scary as you think.

Sorry things are going so slow with your request
the other day. Believe me, it's not because of me. There are a number
of things I have to get into place before I get you an answer. So
many people will be influenced that I need to prepare them. A number
of practical details have to be shifted, that would both bore your
and stun you if you I listed them all. I hope you know that your request
doesn't only effect you, but many others. I know you're ready. Or
maybe you're not? So, while you wait, I'm working on you too-helping
you to trust me, teach you patience, humble you, straighten out your
priorities. I promise I won't take forever and when it does happen,
you'll agree it was the best possible time it could happen. I haven't
forgotten.

Dear Child,
Times have sure changed. Some of you could
say that about your brief time on Earth, but imagine what I have seen
from my perspective. One of the greatest changes I have seen is the
increase in the amount of distractions. Back in biblical times, a
person had his family, neighbors, work to do around the house or garden,
maybe an occasional trip to the market, livestock and one's faith.
Today there are 120 channels on the TV, satellite radio, IPods, multiplex
theaters, video games, malls, the Internet, chat rooms, CDs, DVDs,
newspapers, magazines, books-and that's just the entertainment aspect
of life. The change has occurred in one's spare time. Long before
today, one's free time, if they had any, was spent with family or
with me. Today they are many options to fill up one's day. I created
you with the desire to have human contact and to worship me. Unfortunately,
everything that is marketed to you, pulls you away from who you really
are.

I know everything you do, yet I still love
you. I've witnessed every mistake you've made, and yet, I still love
you. I've seen all the people you've hurt but I don't want to hurt
you. I've heard every curse muttered under your breath, but I don't
want to curse you. I'm well aware of each time you screamed at me
and blamed me, yet I don't want to hold that against you. I saw every
sexual sin you committed, every crime, every broken commandment, every
time you got drunk, every malicious action. I've seen things nobody
else has seen and if they did, they would seriously reconsider your
relationship with them. But, you know what, I won't tell anyone. It's
just between us. I'll remind you of them after you die, then, if you've
accepted my son Jesus as the payment for all those sins, I'll toss
the evidence away and you won't have to worry about it for the rest
of eternity.

Dear Child,
Can you imagine a grape jumping off the vine
and saying "I don't need this vine! I'm going to live life by
myself. I'm my own fruit. I don't need anyone or anything!" After
a few days in the sun, that grape is a dried up raisin, gasping for
breath and a cool drink. You know, when I say "I am the vine,
you are the branches," what I'm trying to communicate to you
is that you can't live your life without me. I want to provide the
sustenance to your life that you need. I want to be the pathway to
what gives you life and helps you to maintain a "fruitful"
existence. Please, don't detach yourself from me and try to make it
on your own. It won't work. I've seen too many raisins in my time.

I hope you don't look at me as your boss. I
never intended for that to happen. In fact, when Adam and Eve were
in the garden, we hung out like friends. Long talks. Walks in the
forest. It was nice. Of course that all changed. I had to be a disciplinarian
because they had disobeyed. I didn't like that role, but I had to
do it. A boss also doesn't have to tell the employees why he does
things. A boss has every right to "boss" the employees around.
I see that differently. I want to work with you and allow you to see
my motivation behind decisions. That's why I gave you the Bible. I
hope that my motivations become your motivations. I'm really looking
for you to be my child and I'll be your Father.

Dear Child,
Please watch what you say today. The slightest
word can cause such pain, just like the smallest spark can cause a
great brush fire. It is very tempting to fire back at an enemy who
fires first at you, but I suggest you take your finger off the trigger
of your tongue. Shooting off your mouth only causes irreparable damage
that can't easily be forgotten. Words have such a way of sticking
in our memory. The best tactic is to analyze every word from your
mouth and determine whether it will hurt or heal. Will it tear down
or build up? Will it cause pain or promise? I suggest only those words
that bring joy, encouragement or love. Toss aside your verbal ammunition.
It really won't do any good.

Dear Child,
It's a good thing I'm not physically present
with you today. Back in the Old Testament I was present with the Israelites
constantly, seen as a pillar of smoke and light. Then I could be found
in the temple, inside the Holy of Holies. When Jesus came, He walked
and talked amongst you. After that, Jesus promised that the Holy Spirit
would come to you. Now you can't see the Holy Spirit, but He's very
much there. He will tell the world what they are doing wrong, show
them what to do right and warn their spirit of sin. In many ways,
the Holy Spirit will be far more effective than the limited capabilities
of being in one place at one time (for example, the desert, the temple
and Israel). Because He is spirit, He can work in hearts all over
the world, simultaneously, and be able to dwell inside all believers,
guiding them at all times. We saved the best for last. We hope your
hearts are open to Him.

Dear Child,
I'm sorry if you're facing persecution over
your faith. I know what that's like. I have people all the time cursing
me. They hurled insults at me, falsely accused me, beat me, mocked
me, then nailed me to a cross. If they did that to me, and then later
they did that to the apostles and disciples, then, I hate to tell
you this, they'll do it to you. Why? They don't understand what I'm
about. It's no excuse. I did some pretty miraculous things right before
their eyes. It didn't help. If I had not shown those miracles like
the feeding of the 5,000, or healing blind men and lepers or causing
the crippled to walk, then I wouldn't blame them for not listening
to my words. I backed up my claims with actions only God could do.
But there's good news. If they are followers of me, and they sense
that you are a follower of me, they'll stick close to you. So stick
close to them. You'll need their help when the insults come.

Dear Child,
Feeding the 5,000 was easy. As was feeding
the 4,000. Making pre-cooked break and already prepared fish appear
from out of nowhere didn't really take much effort on my part. Distributing
it to the masses (and since they only counted the men in those days,
it was really closer to 12,000-15,000) took no time. The easy part
is getting food to the hungry. The hard part is getting the hungry
to come to me for food. So many want to do it on their own or prefer
starving to death before they ask me for anything. What is with that?
I have the ability to supply every need and people reject the invitation.
All I ask for is your trust.

I hope you have not forgotten the things I
taught you. Keep those things close to your heart and don't let anything
get between us. All those commands will do you good-you won't find
yourself in dangerous situations that could be life threatening. My
commands, I promise, will bring you success in many ways (relationships,
business, family, etc.). The main themes of my teachings are love
and faithfulness. Don't forget those. Write them on your forehead
if you have to. May they be the beat of your heart. I'll notice the
difference and so will others. Many think I like making rules. Rules
are boundaries like a fence, keeping you safely at home and not wandering
into dangerous territory all around. If rules protect you, then, yes,
I like rules. I want you to be safe.

you've got. I mean your whole heart. Don't trust yourself, because
you can't see things the way I do. I really have a better perspective
of your life because I see your past, present and future. Remember

true: your wisdom falls way short of my wisdom. All I'm asking is
that you respect that and follow it. Everything that is not about
me is evil. My way really is the best way…the healthy way-physically,
mentally, spiritually-all the way to your bones. But in order for
my prescription for your life to work, you have to give me your whole
heart. Trust me. You would trust a heart surgeon to operate on your
physical heart. Why not trust me with your spiritual heart?

I know it's tough when I have to discipline
you, but don't hate me for it. I'm only doing it because I love you.
If I didn't stop you from doing destructive things, then that would
mean I didn't care what happened to you. I delight in you and want
the best for you. You really will be much happier if you gain wisdom.
It's probably the most valuable commodity on earth. I'm not kidding.
It's worth more than silver, gold, jewelry. Nothing you can ever want
compares to wisdom. With wisdom, you will have a happier, more productive
and, get this, longer life. It can even lead to a more profitable
business and respect in your community. My rebukes are wisdom, so
listen carefully. Learn from them and grow from them.

You really should build your life on my wisdom.
I mean, I built the earth using it. Ask any scientist. Wisdom is the
foundation and structure of everything all around you. Everything
has a tag that reads, "Made in Wisdom." The earth was put
into place using it as were the heavens. Using my great knowledge,
the oceans were filled, water evaporated, clouds formed, rain fell.
Pretty cool, huh. So, don't try to face this world without the wisdom
I have given you. Keep them close to your heart. At times, wisdom
acts as a life preserver, keeping you from drowning. It will float
you to safety. So, go ahead and rest. No need to be afraid. You can
sleep soundly knowing you did the right thing.

Every action has a reaction. A scientist did
not come up with that bright idea. I did. If the wind blows, seeds
will scatter. If lightning crashes, something will get hit. If snow
falls, something will freeze and die. If rain pours, plants will grow
and flourish, bringing forth seeds that a farmer will reap, pass it
on to the bread maker, who will manufacture it, and sell it to you,
to fill your stomach. Just as the elements of this earth cause a domino
effect, the same thing happens when My Word pours out on this Earth.
Every word I have spoken causes a reaction to those that hear it.
It will never do nothing. It will always do something. Why? Because
I have designed it to achieve its purpose and cause joy in the hearts
of those who receive it. So feel free to spread the Word. Pour it
out wherever you go…and watch those seeds grow. I promise they
will.

Hey, I want to let you in on a little secret.
When you die, you won't just go to sleep forever-you're going to change!
It'll happen fast. Quicker than a flash on a camera. Quicker than
you can blink. But I'll give you a warning. A trumpet sound, kind
of like an alarm clock or wake-up call. At that moment, the dead will
rise with a body that will never fade, grow old or get sick. Quite
a difference from the mortal body you have now. When you get this
new imperishable body, you'll be thrilled. I guarantee it. You'll
shout at the top of your lung, "Death, you lose! God has won!
Death, you can't hurt me! Death, just try to stop me!" So don't
worry. I can conquer death, as long as you believe I have.

I just thought I would drop you a note and
let you know that I love you. I love you so much I'm willing to give
up my son Jesus for you, even if it means death. The greatest gift
you can give back to me is to believe that my son died for you. If
you believe that, you will never be apart from me, in this world and
the next, and I promise you eternal life. I didn't send Jesus to the
world to point fingers and make you feel guilty, but to save you from
death and hell. Belief in Jesus means you are free from this condemnation.
Refusing my offer leaves me only choice, one I don't want to make.

hope for eternal life.

Dear Child,
I hope you're doing well. I was thinking today,
there are two kinds of Christians in this world. The arrogant and
the humble. The arrogant are overconfident about their righteousness
and they look down on others. These "religious" folks are
all about showing off their faith with loud prayers, public displays
of "holiness" and bragging about things like giving to their
local church or fasting. They are thankful they aren't like the poor,
criminally minded or sinful, believing life is all about achieving
a human standard of "goodness." The humble, though, do not
compare themselves to others, but to me. Their standard of sin is
my standard of sin. They beat themselves up over their constant leanings
toward evil, preferring to be righteous because I ask for it, not
because they want people to approve them for their "sinlessness."
I tell you, I like the humble. The arrogant glorify themselves. They
will be humbled when they die. The humble glorify me. They will be
glorified when they die.

Just wondered what's going on and if you needed
anything? It's really just as easy as asking. If you just ask, then
I can give you what you need. If you seek me out, then I'll answer
you. If you stop by and knock, I'll greet you at the door. I promise

a sandwich, would you toss him a rock? Or if they wanted some tuna
fish, would go hand over a snake? If you treat your children well,
and you're known for your disobedience at times, how much better will
I treat you, my children, and I'm completely sinless.

Hey, don't worry about anything. But every
time you start to feel anxious, just come to me in prayer and ask
me for help. I recommend you come with a thankful heart when you present
your request to me. Nobody likes an ungrateful person. But you know
what will happen when you come to me? You'll feel more peaceful, a
kind of peace only I can offer. It's hard to explain to you - it's
the kind of peace that says I'm taking care of everything-behind the
scenes and before your eyes. I really hear what you say and I want
to answer your prayer. I'm doing all I can. Doesn't that give you
rest, knowing that I'm on the job? It's hard to explain that to people
that don't know me, but for those of you that do, it's called faith.

Nobody likes to go through tough times. But
sometimes those tough times are discipline-consequences and punishment
for bad behavior. That's not entirely a bad thing. It means that I'm
treating you like you would your own child. Parents discipline kids,
right? They want to correct bad behavior so they will turn out good.
If you don't discipline a child, then that child may not be your own.
You don't care about them nor do you take responsibility for their
actions. Now you respect your parents…why not respect me? I am
the Father of your spirit and your life. Your parents disciplined
you for a time, doing the best they could. I discipline you for your
good. What good reason is that? So you can be holy like I am holy.
I don't discipline you because I hate you. I want to turn out like
me.

There is so much to look at these days. Not
so long ago, all people saw was my natural creation. Over time, more
and more visual stimuli, man-made, crept into people's site line.
Now, it doesn't seem like you look any where without some billboard
or advertisement lurks in the shot. At home and online, thousands
of visual opportunities exist. Then there are all the choices at the
movies, on TV, in magazines, music, you name it. Well here's a tip
when it comes to all that-let your mind dwell on only those things
that are true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent
and full of praise. That will restrict your field of vision and remove
the clutter in your life. It will also guard your heart and cheer
up your soul. It's not prudish or nerdy. But wise.

Dear Child,
You know I'm always watching and you know I'm
always watching because I care. I see everything you do and I have
some suggestions-some pointers to make your life successful. First
of all, try to get along with one another. It helps to be sympathetic
instead of critical. Love others as you would your brothers and sisters,
full of heart and humility. Also, do not fight back with evil when
evil is done to you or an insult when an insult is said to you. That
never gets anywhere, but just escalates the conflict. Instead, fight
back with blessing. I promise to give you blessing after all the sin
you committed. Why can't you give a blessing to someone you don't
think deserves it? Finally, if you truly love life and enjoy every
day of it, why ruin it with lies and insults? Life's too short. Like
I said, I see everything you do, but I pay attention to the prayers
of those that succeed in the ways I just described. Those that practice
evil, I turn away from. I just can't bear to watch.

you. But a peace that comes from Christ. Let this thought dominate

should dwell in you richly as you teach and correct one another with
wisdom. Show me that you truly appreciate this peace by singing psalms,
hymns and praise. Let it come from your heart. In fact, whatever you
do and say, not just the spiritual stuff, do it with me in mind, giving
thanks for Jesus Christ and all my son's done for you.

I know there are so many directions to follow
these days. Interesting people, fads, self-help books…the latest,
greatest ways to make yourself over. But I have some timeless advice.
If you're looking for a way to redo yourself, be like me. For a father,
it's a great privilege to have your children follow in your footsteps.
So live a life of love. Jesus did to the extent he sacrificed himself
for you. That's the ultimate. If you follow my way, you can't let
any sexual immorality sneak into your daily habits or any kind of
sinfulness, including greed, obscenity, stupid talk or explicit jokes.
The two just don't go together. Make sure your heart is full of thanksgiving
and you'll be on your way.

A lot of governments today operate on shaky
ground. Instability and a lack of leadership make them targets for
insurgents who want to overthrow the existing leaders and replace
them with their own. It's not like that with the kingdom of God. Mine

ruled and will rule through every generation. I am faithful to every
promise I've made and I love everyone I've made. If you fall, I'll
pick you up. Look to me for your needs, even food. My hands open to
you and give you satisfaction for you every desire. All of you! I'm

I see the news too and all the evil going on.
It could get scary. But don't get all upset because of evil men and,
whatever you do, don't desire to be like them just because they sometimes
have lots of power or wealth. You know what's going to happen to them?
They'll dry up like the grass on your front lawn. Like a plant they'll
eventually die. Right now you need to trust me and do what's right.
Wherever you live, if you do what I ask, you'll be safe. Enjoy this
time with me and I'll give you the deepest desires of your heart.
Say this day that you will follow me and, trust me, I'll give you
what you want. I'll make you shine. In fact, you'll radiate joy.

What is love? Good question. Many of your poets,
writers, filmmakers have tried to explore it. It's hard to explain
love in just one word. Love waits patiently. Love is nice. Love doesn't
draw attention to yourself. It doesn't get all haughty. It definitely
does not insult or have a pinch of selfishness in it. Love doesn't
fly off the handle and it doesn't keep track of all the things someone
else did wrong. Love and evil are totally opposite. Love loves truth.
Love always makes sure the other is safe, trusts whatever the other
says, always wishes for the best and always gets through tough times.
You have to give up a lot of yourself and your natural instincts to
love.
In that case, love is sacrifice. I think you
know, then, that I love you.

Dear Child,
I know life is tough. I didn't mean for it
to be that way. I intended earth to be paradise, a garden that provided
your every need. It may sound cliché to you, but these difficulties
you face won't last forever. Your present suffering do not compare
to the wonderful glory that awaits you. All of creation waits eagerly
to see my children enter into new phase of my plan. Right now, creation
shows signs of frustration, earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, blazing
heat, all of them by-products of a sinful world. The earth can't wait
until it experiences the same freedom from a sinful world that all
of you will experience too. The prophetic words of the Bible talk
of a new heaven and new earth. When that happens, there will never
be a day that you say, "Life is tough." Even the Earth will
rejoice.

Dear Child,
It's probably not a good that you put down
others and compare them to yourself. Rating them on their weakness,
while glorifying your strengths is never a good idea. Sometimes I
wonder why you do it. All of you, the strong and the weak, end up
in the same place after you die-standing before me on Judgment Day.
I assure you that nobody can compare to me. You will fall to your
knees and bow before me in humble worship. Everyone will say "How
wonderful God is" and no one will look at another and think,
"What is he doing here?" All of you will have to answer
to your many sins. Everyone will be guilty. So stop judging each other.
Focus on my strengths and not on other people's weaknesses. It makes
no logical sense and does nobody any good. Just live your life in
such a way that helps others and makes it easy for them to achieve
success.

Dear Child,
I wanted to let you know how much I love you.
Even though your sins determined a future of death for you, I gave
you life through the death and cleansing power of Jesus. My mercy
compelled me to do that. My grace has saved you. Just like I raised
up Jesus from the grave and brought him to heaven to be with me, I'll
do the same for you. You will someday have a seat in the heavenly
realms. I want you, and the world, to understand the lengths I will
go to show my love. My grace has caused all of this to happen. It's
nothing you have done. Look at it as a gift, not as a job where you
earn the wages then boast how well you've done.

Dear Child,
I know about those who constantly oppress you,
put you down, make your life difficult. Those that disagree with your
faith and your values. Those who don't talk to you or acknowledge
you to your face, but gossip about you when you are away. Don't worry,
I see it all. But I have to tell you this…love those people and
pray for them too. It's what I do. I allow the sun to rise on the
evil and the good. It rains on the righteous people and the unrighteous.
I don't show favoritism, only being nice to the nice people and mean
to the mean people. Besides, how difficult is it to only love those
who love you? How are you going to grow your faith out of that? The
most unrighteous people do that. What big deal is to only say "hi"
to your friends? Everyone does that. I want to stretch you towards
perfection, doing what I would do. It's not easy, but it will grow
you more into a follower of me.

Dear Child,
It doesn't have to be Valentine's Day or your
birthday or an anniversary for me to tell you this: I love you. No
special occasion necessary. However, words are easy, even cheap sometime,
unless they are backed by action. The greatest love action is sacrifice.
I wanted to show my love to you through my son Jesus Christ. He laid
down his life for you. Gave it up completely. In the same way, you
should do the same for others. If you have material things, money,
food, whatever, and you see someone in need and you don't give it
to them, then you don't really love them. Show the love I showed you
by giving to others…completely. My love must be in you. Do not
love with words only, but with actions from the heart. Then others
will understand my love.

Dear Child,
Have you met my son?
He's got quite a resume. Like a writer, He's
the Word, spoken of by the prophets and one who speaks prophetic words.
Like a Vice President, He's been by my side forever, because He is
Me and I am Him. Like an architect, everything came into being according
to His approval and design. Like a doctor, He's a life-giver and healer.
Like an electrician, He brings light into the darkness. What's funny,
as impressive as His credentials are, few know Him. Many refuse to
acknowledge Him. He became flesh and lived with you and He promised
that if you believed His resume and His identity, you can become a
child of God too. Simple as that. Just believe Him. Then He will take
on a new role in your life - a brother.

Dear Child,
I hope this finds you well. There is so much
I want to give you and show you of my love. I want to bless you. If
you're feeling spiritually weak, remember, I want to give you heaven.
If you're experiencing the loss of a loved one, I want to comfort
you. If you're humble, I give those kind of people everything I can.
If you want to live a righteous life, I mean really want it, I'll
fill your whole life to overflowing. If you show mercy to others,
I'll show it to you. If your heart is sinless and clean, you'll see
me working in your life, unmistakably. If you make sure all your relationships
are intact and all the barriers are broken down, you're like a son
to me. That's exactly what I try to do. If your God-filled life experiences
persecution because people don't like the way you live or think, guess
what, I have reserved a place in heaven for you where you won't be
persecuted but you'll fit right in.
So whatever you're going through, there's something
I want to give you.
