ONE LINE DESCRIPTION
With a fun and light-hearted approach, If Jesus Was Born Today is
a new way for children to look at the birth of Jesus
WHAT IF
Jesus came to the earth in a modern day setting.
OVERVIEW
If Jesus was born today, would Mary and Joseph get lost in the
big city? Would the Wise Men be science teachers in fancy flying
machines? Instead of shepherds, would the angels visit firemen
and truck drivers, the blue collar workers of our time? If Jesus
Was Born Today takes a new look at the difficulties a poor couple
would face giving birth to a Messiah in a fast-paced, modern world.
TAKE AWAY VALUE
Children can picture this story through new eyes, as they re-examine
the birth of Jesus in a modern-day setting. If Jesus Was Born
Today will help children appreciate the difficulties Mary and
Joseph went through, in their time, to give birth to the Messiah.
The story reveals the extent God will go through to reach his
people at any time in history.
FORMAT
Illustrated, hardcover, 24 pages, 500 words
UNIQUENESS
The book will retell the Christmas story, giving new inspiration
and insight into the original.
The book will not make fun of nor parody any religious figures.
The illustrations in the book will engage the young reader, creating
a fun and light-hearted appeal to one of our favorite stories.
The book would make a wonderful live presentation or children's
play.
COMPETING PRODUCTS
There are many retellings of the birth of Christ, but none take
a modern day view of the event with this "lighter" touch.

The style and approach of this book project
would be perfect for additional titles in a series, such as If
David Fought Goliath Today, If Noah Built His Ark Today, etc.

Parents who love reading stories to their
children.
OTHER READERS
Teachers of young children will appreciate this book, especially
around Christmas.
